Recently, Lenovo unveiled a new version of its ThinkBook laptop, called the ThinkBook Plus Twist, at the CES 2023 conference.
Laptop Features
The ThinkBook Plus Twist laptop features a unique design with two separate displays:
- a 13.3-inch OLED screen
- a 12-inch E Ink display.
The two displays are connected by a rotating hinge that allows users to easily switch between the two screens and use them in different ways.
The OLED display, with a resolution of 2.8K and a 60Hz refresh rate, is ideal for work-related tasks, while the E Ink display, with a 12Hz refresh rate, is perfect for reading e-books or writing. The E Ink display has two modes: a typewriter laptop mode and an e-paper mode. Both displays run on Windows 11 and support a stylus pen, with webcams on both sides.

Other Features of ThinkBook Plus Twist
The ThinkBook Plus Twist is powered by an Intel 13th-generation Core i7 Raptor Lake-U processor, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 solid-state storage. It has limited ports, with just two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and a 3.5mm audio jack.
It also comes with WiFi 6E connectivity. Lenovo has not yet revealed information about the device’s battery life, but the E Ink display will last about 18 months.
It is not the first time Lenovo has experimented with E-Ink displays. The company has previously replaced the keyboard with an E-Ink display on the Yoga and placed an e-reader on a ThinkBook.
The ThinkBook Plus Twist will be available in the US and Europe starting in June, with a retail price of $1,649 and €1,699, respectively.
