Asperitas and Villa-Tech are partnering to create a network digital twin for the large and mid-sized enterprises. The digital network twin is a fully managed service that helps the companies reduce the risk and increases the pace of change by creating a virtual clone of the on-premise network, which provides a platform to stimulate and implement changes.
Asperitas and Villa-Tech have had a partnership since 2017, and during this, they have deployed and managed networks for several Fortune 1000 companies. After integrating the new service, enterprises will have a holistic view of the existing infrastructure with guidance on the impact of different choices and strategies.
Asperitas and Villa-Tech’s new offering
Digital twins have become a larger trend now as companies like Nvidia are working on stimulating data centers, alongside, Ericsson and Digital Twin Sim working to stimulate different aspects of the 5G network and Scalable Network Technologies.
The Managing Partner and Practice Lead at Asperitas, Scott Wheeler explained, “A network digital twin is a fully managed mirrored replica of an organization’s on-premises network.”
Asperitas and Villa-Tech will be building a replica of the organization’s on-premises network in a real-world setting. Companies use it to assess the performance of their private infrastructure, onramps to the cloud, and connectivity to third-party services and SaaS apps.
Scott Wheeler added, “The value is in the ability for customers to develop, change, and update at a much more rapid pace while knowing exactly how their production network will behave upon implementation. Therefore, risks are removed ahead of network deployment, greatly reducing, if not eliminating, post-implementation issues.”
